Lord'Paulistinha has always been a controversial figure. For some, he is a legend. For others, he is just scum. In the end, he's an example, whether for good or for evil.
In an exclusive interview in the past, revealed that broken a lot of Tibia rules. He painted a target on his forehead, and after some investigations made by CipSoft - violations confirmed - was deleted. One year later, Carlos decided to speak again, giving his version of events that ended in the fatal episode.

TibiaBR - Since Lord'Paulistinha's deletion, you disappeared and we couldn't listen you to publish your side of history. That made with many players to especulate… We know that CipSoft deleted your character using the affirmation that it was bought (this being a rule violation). Could you tell us your side, a summary with all things that happened, in your point of view?
Carlos - First of all, thanks for inviting me to this interview. I’m pleased to give this interview for all Tibia’s community.
TibiaBR - Which was your reaction when your character has been deleted? Did you fell anger? Frustration? It was a surprise or you suspected that something like that could happen to you?
Carlos - I not only suspected, I was sure it would happen. I transferred Lord’Paulistinha’s house to another character and I took everything what was in his depot and on his body.
TibiaBR - And what about the reaction of those around you? Did you discover who was a true friend and who was close just for interest?
Carlos - Yes, this wasn't immediately. Many internet fellows, even me, didn't believe that the account would remain deleted. This was a reason for us to keep united, but didn't took much time for real friends appear.
TibiaBR - We know your family is pretty close. How was the reaction of your children and wife?
Carlos - We always been very close. My son, when I was answering that interview, he told me: “Dad, if that interview is going to be published this way, your account could be banished”. I smiled and said to interviewers that if it could cause some punishment, they could remove some of my answers. His answer was the same that they would later inform their readers: "No one could be banished for just giving an interview". But well, after all my family was very happy, because I could finally had more time for them (laughs).
TibiaBR - How was your routine after the deletion?
Carlos - Well, the interview was published, my account banished, the “world change” feature was implemented, everything at same time. People who wanted to prejudice the top player invaded Elera. That's what I said in another interviews: I've made some accounts and bought others. I had about 30 accounts, 15 of them was in the Top 20 exp in Elera. I won’t reveal the characters names. If their owners want to be their names on news they will have to find another way. If CipSoft wants to investigate just ask me and I reveal the accounts and recovery keys for investigation, to CipSoft make justice (laughs)! Well... back to the main topic: I gave these accounts to my friends. Some of them I knew personally, others just by Team Speak or even just in-game. In the beginning I gave them some accounts, so they could defend themselves from new players coming from another servers. I have been waiting my account (Lord’Paulistinha) to return from banishment. When it returned, I helped my friends for a few days, but always when I was about to log out, I used to put off everything on my body, waiting for a deletion or something like that. After my deletion, I sold some accounts to anyone willing to buy, and gave some others as a gift to who I considered worthy. I was there for days, if not for months, helping my friends to defend Elera. Many people, when realized that Lord’Paulistinha was not coming back, showed their true face: “I play on the winner side”, and for fear of dying and lose experience some of them became spys. The bravest people gone even further: made alliances with my enemies. But since I was working out in a war wich was not mine (Carlos, LP) I decided to just give some accounts, and I sold the rest. After all, I’m working on my real job (real life).
TibiaBR - Did you exchange e-mails with CipSoft about the happening? What did they say at the time?
Carlos - Well, in the day of the deletion I asked Giovanni, TibiaBR's Administrator, explaining to him that my account had been banished for investigation, and there was not a logic explanation on the website about that banishment, just “Account transfer”. I made a complaint asking CipSoft an explanation, and the explanation was that my character was in an investigation about “buying/selling account”. They didn’t tell me “was because of the interview”. The answer was just that: “investigation for account trading”.
TibiaBR - We've got an information that you supposedly would start a judicial term against CipSoft. Is that truth? Could you tell us more about it? Under which point you based your defensing? Did you carry it forward? If you do, what did you win?
Carlos - Yes, I hired a lawyer company from in Brazil and another one on Germany. They informed CipSoft, and they answered that account was being investigated, and they discovered that it was been sold. This was the banishment reason. In my defense I asked: What is the evidence of account trading you do have, if the account have the same email, address and name since the day it was created? I didn't go with an injunction, I made a deal with my lawyers and the case apparently is dead… I can't talk more about it.
TibiaBR - Many of our readers still "blame" TibiaBR, wrongly saying our site deleted Lord'Paulistinha. Others believe this controversial interview was used by CipSoft as a final proof of rule violations. Some even accuse us of having induced you to say things you didn't want to, causing the deletion of your character. What do you have to say about it?
Carlos - I don't take it as evilness and I see no bad intention of TibiaBR to have disclosed the full interview. Since the day thad I answered the questions, I knew that it could happen. However, I commented in the interview that I said the truth, and asked if this could prejudice LP's account. I'll tell you: CipSoft was wrong, because has no proof beyond the interview. The interview was given from a hotmail account that wasn't the same email from LP's account. But CipSoft will never step back and fix their error, because they were judging Tibia's top level. Since I bought the account, they never investigated it, and I never asked for a new recovery key. Yes, I was deleted because of that interview. TibiaBR had no intention nor blame because of what happened. CipSoft, being the "moralist" company that it is, didn't step back, even without real proof of the rule violations. I answered the interview because I wanted, of my own free will.
TibiaBR - Do you regret giving that interview?
Carlos - No.
TibiaBR - About the character Lord'Paulistinha, if you could go back in time, would do everything the same?
Carlos - No, I would have bought a mage.
TibiaBR - There are many rumours about what you have or haven't done. Based on these rumours and deletion of your character, do you think you helped helped to tarnish the image of Brazilian players?
Carlos - Never. I bought more chars from foreigners than from BRs. When I sold my accounts, the majority went to foreigners. Only those who do not want to open their eyes feel hurt; botting, account trading and donation, are things that exist since Tibia was made and didn't start here in Brazil. I bought chars from Mexicans when I played Libera, and at that time there was no change of character name, there was no new RK or address change. That guys used to make some good trading and they're very honest.
TibiaBR - Do you still play with other character?
Carlos - Yes.
TibiaBR - If you do, what inspired you to continue? Do you follow Tibia rules? Could you say the name of your new char?
Carlos - I bought the account, so I can't reveal the name, but... soon I'll be back on top, but not as Carlos Locatelli.
TibiaBR - How did you fill the hole left by the time you devoted to the game?
Carlos - I have no much time on the PC, the person who sold me the account plays with me, typical Tibia player case . It's another reason for hypocrites to talk s**t. When I left this new character botting, my friends in-game aren't Carlos' friends, but my character's friends. Also, they're friends of the accounts' former owner, who says he is the only owner. When people ask who I am, I answer that I'm friend of the char's owner and help him to keep low stamina.
TibiaBR - What would you say to the community after all of this?
Carlos - That was good while it lasted. LP gave me lots of fun and helped me through difficult moments of my life, and that the game is nothing more than way to disconnect from real life and spend time. Today, without the heaviness of being top Tibia, I enjoy more, without having to solve silly problems of angry people.
