Nice post. You went thru some trouble to write all that. Too bad nobody will agree with you. See, it's not about you being right or not. This people fight for principle. And this time i support them.
So yes i fully understand what you said and i agree with you. Yet i support them. For once it's nice to see roles changed. How does it feel to present ARGUMENTED case and nobody cares ? Feels like talking to a wall doesn't it ? Oh and yes i do know you'll implement pretty much what you like/want. Nobody can stop you. Nobody will stop you. But this time there will be at least some minor consequences to this action. The crowd is restless. More now than ever. Let's see what happens next.
Some time ago Mr. Skyrr logged into game and manually deleted few high level botters. For few days there was hardly any botter in sight. For we all know (yes you included) that fear of being caught is what holds people in check. You sure made absolute sure that people have no such fear at all. You can say what you want and write another 3 walls of text. Won't change that fact. At least have dignity and admit you did make sure to do as little as possible to make cheating go away. I challenge you if you dare. Tell us what was done to CATCH cheaters since the tool was introduced ? Since it became pretty much instantly clear the tool is flawed. What did you do ? And don't sell me the PR bull**** Present me with facts and results. How many people were caught botting because of your hard work to stop cheaters ? You can't i know. For if there is no work done one can't expect results can he ?
So you see people can't be fed with promises of a better tomorrow anymore. And even some deep emotional letter how you failed the community how ashamed you are and how you want another chance to prove you can do it won't do the trick anymore. People see thru them now. Worked very nice in past though. Concerning cheaters and botters you failed utterly and completely. It's hard to do worse than you did. O yes i know you want to reduce the amount of "manual" labor to minimum. You'd so want some program to do almost everything. Well here is some reality check. There are some things that programs can't do. You want to run a company ? Then working costs are a part of that. You can reduce them. But reducing them when it comes to botters and cheaters ? Seriously ? Hah !
As result of that complete failure you have current situation now. I am no expert but yet even i can tell you that "incidents" like this one will occur more frequently in the future. So you see you can write as much as you want. People won't listen. And there is no one else to blame but yourself. So ask yourself. How far are things when people won't listen to reason and will fight for a principle ?
