The Dragon’s Tree Island
A warrior who had chosen the small island of RookGaard to live in, was one day fighting a few Rotworms and Skeletons, when he heard a voice from the other side of a wall that Said: “If it was the time of the War of the Corpses, you wouldn’t be so lucky...worm”, so he screamed asking who was that who threatened him, but, he didn’t have any answers.
With that sentence in mind he asked the wise elder of RookGaard, Cipfried.
-Salutations Master Cipfried.
-How are you noble warrior? I seen in your face something bothers you, do you need help?
-It’s true master, I was hunting by the morning, when in a cave to northeast of RookGaard, when I listened to a voice that came from behind a wall that said: “If it was the time of the War of the Corpses, you wouldn’t be so lucky… worm”. Do you know anything about it, Master Cipfried?
After a moment of silence, the Elder wise raises his head as if looking to the sky and thinks: “It’s time for the revelation, as the venerable Crunor had warned”.
-Noble warrior, I ask you to pay attention in my words. That voice you heard wasn’t your imagination, it was an undead that I locked when I was chosen to stay here and train new warriors.
-But master, as I fight with lots of skeletons every days easily, I believe you would defeat them in a blink of the eyes.
-It’s true, but this undead has the capacity of regenerating, making him immortal, that’s why I had to lock him, but what I’m about to reveal is even more important than that and you’ll understand why is this undead here, I ask you for all your attention in this moment.
-A long time ago, when Tibia was still being created, there was a Great War named the War of the Corpses, where the undeads started walking in Tibia to destroy all the beautiful things created by Uman and Fardos. Right after Urgith, creator of the undeads, started the War of the Corpses, a group of 6 dragons, Far, Hitnor, Bher, Stor and Zislon, leaded by Garsharak, hid in a, until then unknown, island that was created together with Tibia, but when they got there, it was a big surprise to see that even there small groups of undeads walked in those lands. As the dragons were too exhausted due to the long trip, they decided to hide and rest, so in the next day they would fight the evil beings that were there.

At the sunrise (me desculpem a piada, mas até aqui ele nos segue

), the group of dragons went to the battle against the undeads, but this attack made the God Zathroth really angry, because who leaded the attack were his biggest prouds, the first creation of his son Brog. Enraged with that “betrayal” he decided to curse the dragons, locking his souls in trees.
His first victim was Hitnor, Zathroth fired a thunder in the dragon who died, and in the place of his body a tree who would be his jail for all the eternity. The next who had his soul locked was Stor, then Zislon, followed by Fir. Bher saw what happened to Fir and went to warn Garsharak, as he approached him, Bher saw an intense light coming from the sky, so he noticed it was about to happen the same with his leader, and in a heroic act, he used all his forces in a fire wave and launched it against his leader, in the same instant when he threw his body in front of the thunder. Zathroth didn’t understand why did the dragon kill his own leader, because in the place of the fire wave all that was left was a huge, deep hole.

Satisfacted with his act of vengeance, Zathroth asked his son Brog to summon some monsters to be sentinels of the trees. Although feeling bad for the destruction of his first creature, Brog obeyed the orders of his father and summoned some creatures to guard the Dragon Trees. Right after that, Zathroth gave his attention back to Tibia. After a long sleep, Garsharak woke up with two memories, the first of his friend Bher attacking him, while a thunder hitted him and saying “Hide” and the second he wasn’t sure if it was a dream or if he heard it during his rest, a strong voice saying “it’s ready, mighty God Zathroth, the monsters are already guarding the trees that lock the souls of the betrayer dragons”. That voice was familiar to him, it was Brog, his creator. His wish was to go out and eliminate the beings who made that with his friends, but he reminded of the last words of Bher and understood that, if he left that cave he fall in for luck, he would have the same destiny of his friends, so he decided to live in that cave and sometimes, during the nigh, he’d go near the entry of his cave, searching for food.
A few years later, Garsharak wakes up with a strange sound near the entry of his cave; it was Celif, a baby elf who was thrown in the sea by his mother in a magic bowl, during the apex of the War of the Corpses getting to the small island where Garsharak lived. Irritated with that weird noise in the island, the dragon left his hiding place and gets surprised when he find that unknown creature. He prepared for a deadly attack, believing that creature was sent by Zathroth, the baby elf opened a smile, making a weird feeling in that old and lonely dragon, making him to notice that creature was inoffensive. So Garsharak got him in one of his wings and took him to the cave, before Zathroth could discover he was still alive. The old dragon passed all his knowledge at the same time he learned with the young elf.

But the Ancient God Crunor had a specie of link with his creations and felt the presence of a young elf outside the domains of Tibia and went to met the elf and Garsharak, who soon prepared a fierce attack, but in this moment, the dragon felt the same charisma he felt with the small elf, causing him to stop the attack, and asked:
-Who are you?
-I am Crunor, creator of the elves. I came here because I felt the great happiness of my creation.
-What is an elf? – asked the dragon.
-You see this young being beside you? He is an elf, a creature gifted with ability and wisdom.
Then, Crunor asked the dragon:
-Well, I know the dragons are gifted of great evil, because they are Brog’s creation, but I see you are different. Why?
Garsharak stared at the young elf and said:
-The small one made me like this.
So Crunor asked him another question:
-What do you do in this isolated island?
The old dragon told him all the story. Crunor takes a decision, he would free the souls of his dragon friends, but, to do it, it was needed to kill the creatures who guarded the trees, but he couldn’t do it, but he had an idea. Crunor said to Garsharak:
-I also created a being called human, this creature fights very well against the evil creatures. I will assign a human with the mission of destroying the monsters who guards the trees and that way I’ll free the souls of your friends. As a reward for the mission, I’ll give the warrior my biggest treasure, the complete set of the Armor of Crunor, including the legendary Sword of Crunor , so he can protect this island from the creatures of Brog. Take good care of the young elf, he might be your eyes in the surface and he will show the way to the trees to that who the mission is assigned to.
-This legend is very interesting, but I have a doubt, great master Cipfried: how do you know so much about this legend?
-I know much about this “legend” because I was the one assigned to accomplish the mission, but my knowledge, strengths and abilities weren’t enough to make me successful. So the wise Ancient God Crunor trusted me the mission to stay in this island, where the soul vortex were redirected to, recruiting new warriors and heroes, waiting that some day a warrior will be able to accomplish this mission. And as you have already the strength of a hundred men, I believe this warrior is you. Do you accept the challenge?
-I accept, and I fell honored with such trust.
-So get ready, because I will be sending you to the island, where you must meet with the Ancient Elf Celif. Good luck in your journey and may Uman guide your ways.
