September 11th. Not Bin Laden this time! Orshabaal, probably the most feared creature in Tibia, started his attack to the gameworlds. After killing almost the whole population in Pacera and Calmera (both non-pvp), he gained self-trust and attacked Titania. But he didn’t know that he would find true titans, really fearless people that made he come back to hell. One of the men of the the mortal’s victory was the knight blocker Rostein, that kindly gave us a very nice interview and you can read it below. He saw the devil face-to-face and he talks about real life, about the tactics in the battle, also about the expectation and difficulties in this victory that certainly is now written in tibian history: September 11th, the day that they defeated the demon master for the first time. TibiaBR.com - Today we will interview the first knight to successfully block the mighty and feared Orshabaal. Greetings, Rostein! First of all... who is Rostein behind the screen? Tell us your real life name, age, where you born and live, etc.
Rostein – My name is Rostein Wind, age 16, and I’m born and live in Stockholm, Sweden.
TibiaBR.com - How is the life of Unit guild in real lands? Are all of you real life friends? Tell us some history about your guild.
Rostein – Well the base of Unit is most real-life friends and people we have known from the start of the server, then the rest are people that have become loyal on the way there, you can see the guild is about loyalty.
TibiaBR.com - What was you doing when they announced that Orshabaal was coming back to mortals land? Was you online?
Rostein – I was outside playing football when the announcement came... When I came home the time was around 00:00, and in one second I decided, “I will block it”.
TibiaBR.com - Everybody knows how your crew defeated the demoniac creature. That great tactic was made before the strike, as precaution, or it was made suddenly as improvisation?
Rostein – Well, the tactic I thought up myself was created before the Orshabaal attack, I have wanted to block him ever since I heard about him.
TibiaBR.com - Who made the main idea of the plan?
Rostein – I made the tactic and organized it. It was when the Orshabaal came for the first time, I saw a movie of it. So I started to look at the map near the river and I saw the tactic right there...
TibiaBR.com - How many runes your crew used? Was it too expensive to kill Orshabaal?
Rostein – From my side, 8 ultimate healing runes. But then I had friends who healed me also.
TibiaBR.com - How was your expectation of Orshabaal before fighting him? Were you frightened or something?
Rostein – I always thought I was gonna survive blocking him, because I always felt my tactic was the way to handle the beast.
TibiaBR.com - Tell us some funny story or fact that you saw or knew about it while Orshabaal’s strike.
Rostein – Well, as you might know we are at war against Kazadum and Freedom, and they were there with their second chars to try to disturb us, and while we were slaying the Orshabaal, they did a magic wall attack to try to keep my teammate from attacking and healing.
TibiaBR.com - How did you fell when you were blocking that powerful monster that even the stronger guy didn’t? Are you feeling like some kind of “Superman”? =P
Rostein – I felt that if I had my guildmates (The Unit) with me all the time, we can't fail. I always feel secure when I know I have them with me.
TibiaBR.com - What was his best hit on you?
Rostein – I prefer not to answer that question, but what I can say it was never harder than 1000.
TibiaBR.com - Worth a try killing the orshabaal or it was too dangerous to be worthy? Would you do it again?
Rostein – It was well worth it to kill him, if he ever come again, I'll be sure to block him
TibiaBR.com - Hey Rostein... I’ll make a question that everybody keeps asking us in msn and we dunno how to answer… come on close and tell us... <whispering> What was the loot?
Rostein – I don't wanna spoil the loot, but the greatness of the loot is so thick it can be touched by only the ones who have not been cursed.
TibiaBR.com - How did you fell when you opened Orshabaal’s body? Did you expected more? Less? Did you expected more or less? How will the loot be shared?
Rostein – Well, no comment, no comment, no comment , no comment
TibiaBR.com – <laughs> Did you earn any experience blocking that fat red thing?
Rostein – I felt like we had it in us how to do it before we killed him.
TibiaBR.com - Do you think that the bosses such as Orshabaal is one of the better changes of this update?
Rostein – I think so yes, because when they brought in the boss monsters they brought back the fun of defeating harder monsters, they brought in the challenge
TibiaBR.com - You did a thing that nobody did before. How is going to be now? How people will look at you?
Rostein – Well, I have never gotten this much attention in my life in Tibia. People wanting to do interviews with me, people messaging me saying I’m a GOD, it made a celebrity.
TibiaBR.com - Is there any difference with you before and after the Orshabaal raid?
Rostein – Well after I killed Orshabaal I feel more happy and stronger, it brought joy to my life.
