Problema com PLACA DE VIDEO

estou perdendo a paciencia com o rwindows

eu uso o XP pro SEM a porcaria do SP 2

eu tive akele problema no DOS q eu postei nakele otro topic, dai eu achei melhor reinstalar o windows, aproveitando q eu tinha o CD

mas o rwindows eh TAO ruim, q qdo eu instalei essa porcaria eu PERDI TODAS AS CONFIGURACOES da placa de VIDEO

eu uso uma GeForce 4 MX440-SE(leia-se segunda mao =p), dai eu tenho o cd, eu instalo e nada acontece

dai eu peguei um PACK da nVidea na internet com o driver de uma pa de placas de video, entre elas a minha.

eu instalei tudo bunitinho e quando eu fui botar pra rodar eu descobri oq:

n tem nenhuma placa detectada ali

Installation instructions
-------------------------
1. These drivers must be installed by a user with Windows 2000/XP Administrator
privileges. Please consult your system administrator or Microsoft
Windows 2000/XP User's Manual for more information on Administrator
privileges.

2. Start Microsoft Windows 2000/XP.

3. From the Start menu, select Settings.

4. Select Control Panel.

5. Select System.

6. Select Device Manager.

7. Under Display adapters, select the name of the NVIDIA adapter you have
installed. If you do not see a Display adapters option, or if your NVIDIA
adapter is not listed, under Other Devices, select Video Controller (VGA
Compatible).
8. Select the Driver tab.

9. Select Update Driver.

10. Select Next.

11. Select Next.

12. Verify that "Specify a location" has a check mark next to it. If it does
not, click in the box next to "Specify a location" to place a check mark
in the box. Select Next.

13. Enter the path to the NVIDIA drivers in the "Copy manufacturer's files
from:" dialog. Select OK.

14. If you get a dialog box that states "A suitable driver for this device
is already installed.", click in the box next to "Install one of the
other drivers" to place a check mark in the box, then select Next.

Otherwise, select Next, then proceed to step 16.

15. Select the following driver from the list. NVIDIA RIVA TNT is used an
example; make sure to select your NVIDIA adapter from the list.

na parte q eu sublinhei vo6 podem ler q o computador teria que teoricamente ter detectado a placa, coisa q n aconteceu

que coisa de maluco, agora eu to usando uma placa onboard de 8 megas q roda tibia a 12 fps! QUERO MINHA GEFORCE DE 64 MEGAS!!

so por que vc nao tem windows original?
eu tenho original e ele é exelente

consulte suporte com o fabricante, nao sei q erro é isso

Amigo , vc instalou o driver da placa mae ? Este driver contem a controladora AGP no qual sua placa esta ligada , se vc num tiver ele instalado nao irá reconhecer a placa de video.

sp2 é mto ruin msm infelizmente... e parece q sua instalação pode ter fugido o padrã como disse nosso amigo acima... tente buscar esse dispositivo e boa diversão!!
