ow so dizendo o coisa do Maple Story Evo bom acabo o coisa pra faze acc agora so pode faze daqui a um mes depois da abertura do server bom o server num eh bem "Pirata" ele eh server do gm pra testa as coisa e ta abrindo pra galera joga agora e tem muita gente q perdeu a acc q feiz antes de encerra o coisa pra faze acc pq vc teria q ser ativo no forum pra poder no joga no server bom ta ae pra vcs sabe ^^

Entrei nesse Maple EVO, é simplesmente um Lixo. Do com um sin lv 64 em 3 h de jogo. Mas é o piro que cai a cada 20 min, pra testes.

Sketchi (supposed leaked MS server files) was a complete fake.
cVista is a supposed server emulator, but it too is completely fake (download their "beta"; it does absolutely nothing. I know, I decompiled it.)
MapleEvo is supposed to be another server emulator, developed independently; seeing as how nothing has been released yet, I can only assume it is fake too.

there are tons of people now digging into the .wz files now that certain portions of the encryption and data formats have been made public, and of course once people are able to do that they suddenly think they can make a private server with it. Let me be clear: getting into .wz files will maybe get you 1% toward having a private server.

the thing is, nobody is making a server without leaked server files unless they are doing a LOT of work.

without the server files, someone would have to:
- analyze MS client network traffic and figure out how to decrypt it
- figure out what the server does with the network traffic
- figure out what network traffic the client expects to get from the server
- figure out what data is stored in server data files only and recreate it

also keep in mind that when you connect to MS, you don't just connect to one server machine - there is a login server, a cash shop server, an MTS server (in JMS's case), and several world servers (each channel is probably a machine or group of machines.) This makes figuring out the above things that much harder.

then, once you've figured out all this crap, you have to write server code that emulates exactly how the real servers talk to the clients - and this, by far, is the part that takes the most skill and experience. Arguably the most difficult portion of any MMO game to code is the server half - you have to manage hundreds or thousands of connections with many more thousands of database queries and client-fraud checks.

and then, after you finally have a working server, or if you have a leaked server, you still have to figure out how to patch up the official clients so that they attempt to talk to your server and not the official ones. This isn't easy - the main ***** is protected very well.

finally, after you have everything running, you of course have to cope with the fact that what you are doing is illegal, and you may be shut down at any time if Wizet feels it necessary - rendering all of your hard work useless. Yes, illegal. Laws of course vary by country, but software is almost universally considered as copyrighted material. This means that only the copyright holder has rights to create derivative works, which includes pretty much anything that can be considered a private server except for the case where you completely blackbox reverse-engineer it so that no part of the final product is from the copyrighted material (that includes art, music, etc.!) Of course, at that point you've pretty much created an entirely new game - there's not much sense in calling it a Maple Story private server anymore. The fact that other games have private servers that aren't shut down does not mean they are legal - nor does the fact that nobody is profiting from the private server make it legal.

so no. There is no Maple private server. That's not to say that there will never be one, but - the people who have the capacity to make such a thing would be better off doing more profitable things with their time, such as creating their own commercial MMO.
