Entrevista com o grande Alex de Antica! Sim sim, aquele que roubou a tão sonhada Magic Long Sword! Aqui você vai saber a história e ainda conhecer alguns fatos engraçados dessa grande figura, que inclusive está em um livro dentro do jogo!
Primeiramente, para os estrangeiros, a entrevista em inglês. Sim, meu inglês não é essas coisas, mas dá pro gasto.

Some time in the summer and like 3 weeks before that update that reset character values. I hope my timeline is right.

As you have sayed, Alex was your first character. And is just level 18. Is true that you stop leveling because of a eternal "hunted"?
Josephine:
Heh. I said Josephine is my oldest char. And she is. Alex was a leftover from a friend that quit playing and I used Alex as a trade char when I was bored with leveling Meiner or being a badass mercenary with Josephine

I pretty much stopped playing Antica after the whole sword thingy, so Alex stayed in his 18-20 range for years now.

Sometime ago i interviewed Recca and he told me somethings about this history... Can you tell the whole legend with your vision and your side of history?
Josephine:
Give me a minute to recall it and put it in some sentences. There was a RL convention in Vienna and CIP gave out some presents/rewards for the organisers. Hagbard was rewarded with a Cycsword and decided to sell it, so he opened an auction for it. He excluded some american players from bidding for the sword, so those players asked me to bid for them. I told them my price, they agreed, I was bidding for them and ended up winning the action from Hagbard (funny thing here, Recca was the only one bidding against me and Hagbard had set a time limit...Reccas final bid, wich would have been higher than mine, was 8 seconds too late.)

I might be wrong, but I think it was somewhere between 5 and 5.5 million gold (at that time that was a ton)

for me, still SO much O.O Well, after recca got it, what happens?
Josephine:
Those 2 americans now had the cycsword and played around with it. they didn't really enjoy it and they had basicly payed like 2-3 raresets to get it. They wanted their money back.

recca never got it. I won the Hagbard auction and gave the sword to my customers. They didnt like it and wanted to sell it again. They gave me the sword to sell it and now I made an action for the cycsword. I still remember Wurzels outcry 'this is a legendary sword and all he is doing with it is trying to make money...he wont get a cent from me'

But Wurzel's best buddy Recca was the only one bidding on my auction. So I had to...ehmn.. 'invent'...some 'anonymous' bidders.

Recca 'won' the auction for 6.5mil gp. While he was collecting money and items to cover that price I collected the sword from the american guys. I told them to wait for Reccas payment. Then he gave me the payment and I told him to wait for me to get the sword. Then I logged out and was litterally walking up and down in my flat, thinking of what to do.

I decided to keep sword and payment. Then I made a posting about it and decided to see what happends.Anyways, after I made that posting saying 'I just stole 13 mil gp (6.5 payment+ sword worth 6.5) the public was very split. I got mails from people congratulating me (people that some times already had quit tibia for a while) and I got a lot of hate too.

But that was somewhat expected. Never in those exact words, but I figured as much.

My friend's question: Is true that you rent the sword for RL money or tibia money?
Josephine:
Antica was not really fun at that time for me. Some days later a lot of the people of my guild (Hokuten) were deleted for duping, we basicly lost the war at that time and in general I was pretty bored. I kept the sword in the sword collection of my char Meiner for a while, but I was thinking that that was lost money. The cycsword rotting in a depot? Nahh...so I got a good offer from a friend some time later and I rent the sword to that friend since. For tibia money, not RL money.

some guys told that was 200k/day or 11m/month lol... The gms interfered when they discovered your steal?
Josephine:
I think this is the first time I ever said how much it is. A tibia.br exclusive !

I had quite some GM friends at that time and one of them told me that some other GM was posting about it on the GM forums, to make CIP step up and punish me. But they never really did. After all, safe trade existed at that time and it was partly Reccas 'fault'

Also, you get a tittle of the biggest thief of all Tibia. Sounds lika a hounor?
Josephine:
But right after the theft there was suddenly a ton of platin+rares on the market and cip had to reset servers a week or 2 later since people duped...they only missed the theft by like 2 or 3 days with reseting and I was pretty lucky there. Oh well, I don't think I am the biggest thief any more. I might be the biggest one ADMITTING it and saying 'Yes, I stole, so what? The real honor for me was the Isle of Kings book describing me as 'the most vaunted merchant of the lands'

and when the test came out a friend and I were looking through all the accounts we had access to, to find one without bans and with premmy and all that stuff, just to test the test...was a funny afternoon. I don't have any. I get my payments monthly and I don't care

hehe... Theres any funny history that you want to tell to us?
Josephine:
hmm..yea... You see, Josephine used to be my main char, a powerfull lvl 23ish sorceress and in the Mercenary council. She and the just as mighty druid Akallabeth used to love to go hunting giant spiders. But we despised to share our hunts with other people, so we only went when the lag was thickest..when noone else dared to visit the plains of havok. Then we set out, our backpacks filled with firebombs and all kinds of runes and burst arrows..we traveled and set the whole poh on fire...well, our aim wasn't perfect, but sooner or later we trapped some spiders, and sooner or later akallabeth always died, so she could go to the depot and refill her bp's so we had even more runes to shoot.

the moral of the story is: we enjoyed the adventure and death didnt mean a thing to us. back then you dropped all your quipment, like 10+% exp etc...didn't matter...it was fun

Josephine:
Heh, eu disse que Josephine é meu char mais antigo. E ela é. Alex foi uma sobre de um amigo que parou de jogar e eu usei Alex como um char de trocas, quando eu estava cansado de pegar levels com Meiner ou ser um mercenario malvado com Josephine.

Eu meio que parei de jogar em Antica depois do rolo com a espada, então Alex ficou em seus levels 18-20 faz anos agora.

Algum tempo atrás eu entrevistei Recca, e ele me disse algumas coisas sobre esta história. Você poderia nos dizer a lenda inteira com sua visão e lado da história?
Josephine:
Me dê um minuto para lembrar e organizar em algumas frases. Tinha uma convenção RL em Vienna e a CIP deu alguns presentes/recompensas para os organisadores. Hagbard foi recompensado com uma Cycsword e decidiu vende-la, então ele abriu uma audição para isso. Ele excluiu alguns dos jogadores americanos da audição, por isso estes pediram para eu dar um lance para eles. Eu lhes disse meu preço, eles concordaram, eu estava dando lances para eles e acabei vencendo o leilão de Hagbard. (Engraçadom o último lance de Recca, que seria maior que o meu, teve 8 segundos de atraso.

Nossa! E você se lembra do preço?
Josephine:
Eu posso estar errado mas acho que era algo entre 5 - 5.5 milhões de golds (Naquela época era muito!)
Repórter Tibiabr:
Para mim ainda é MUITO! Bem, depois que Recca pegou, o que aconteceu?
Josephine:
Aqueles dois americanos tinham agora a Cycsword e bricaram com ela, eles não gostaram muito, eles basicamente pagaram 2-3 sets raros para pega-la, eles queriam seu dinheiro de volta.

Recca nunca a pegou, eu ganhei o leilão de Hagbard e dei a espada para meus clientes. Eles não gostaram e quiseram vende-la de volta. Eles me deram a espada para vender e agora eu fiz um leilão para a cycsword. Eu ainda lembro o Wurzel chorando 'Esta é uma espada legendaria e tudo que ele quer é fazer dinheiro com ela... ela nao vai ter um centavo de mim.

Mas o melhor amigo de wurzel, Recca era o unico dando lances, então eu tive que.. ehh... 'inventar' alguns 'anonimos' para dar lances.

Josephine:
Recca 'venceu' o leilão com 6.5 milhões de gp. Enquanto eu estava coletando o dinheiro e items para cobrir aquele pagamento eu peguei a espada dos rapazes americanos. Eu disse-lhes para esperar pelo pagamento de Recca, ai eu peguei o pagamento e disse para ele esperar eu pegar a espada. Então eu loguei e estava literalmente andando pelo meu condominio, pensando no que fazer.

Eu decidi ficar com a espada e com o pagamento, então eu fiz um post sobre isso e decidi esperar para ver o que aconteceria. Então, depois que eu fiz aquele post dizendo 'Eu acabei de roubar 13 milhões de gp (6.5 do pagamento mais 6.5 da sword) o público se dividiu muito. Eu recebi e-mails de pessoas me dando parabéns (Pessoas que as vezes já tinha parado com tibia fazia algum tempo.) E eu recebi muita raiva também.

Josephine:
Mas isso era meio inesperado. Nunca nessas exatas palavras, mas eu percebi que tanto quanto.
Repórter Tibiabr:
Pergunta dos meus amigos. É verdade que você aluga a espada por dinheiro RL e dinheiro de Tibia?
Josephine:
Antica não era muito divertida naquele tempo para mim. Alguns dias depois que muita gente da minha guilda (Hokuten) foi deletada por trapacear, nos basicamente perdemos a guerra aquela época e em geral eu estava bem entediado. Eu fiquei com a espada para minha coleção de espadas do meu char Meiner por um tempo, mas ai eu estava pensando que era perdade de dinhero... a Cycsword apodrecendo em um depot? Nahh... então eu recebi uma boa oferta de um amigo e algum tempo depois eu alugei esta espada para meu amigo desde então, por dinheiro de tibia, não dinheiro real.

Eu tinha alguns amigos GM's naquela época e um deles me disse que outro GM estava postando sobre isso no fórum dos GM's, para fazer a CIP tomar uma atitude e me punir. Mas eles nunca o fizeram. Porque veja bem, existia troca segura naquela época, então foi em parte 'culpa' da Recca.

Além do mais, você tem o titulo de ser o maior ladrão de todo o tibia, isso soa como uma honra?
Josephine:
Mas logo após o roubo teve do nada toneladas de platinum + itens raros no mercado e cip teve que resetar os servers uma semana ou duas por que as pessoas trapacearam... eles resetaram para 2 ou 3 dias depois do roubo, eu tive muita sorte ai. Bem, eu não acho que sou o maior ladrao ainda, eu posso ser o maior ADMITINDO e dizendo "Sim, roubei e dai?". A maior honra pra mim foi o livro na Isle of Kings descrevendo-me como o 'o mais procurado mercante da terra'.

1-2 anos atrás, uma das minhas accounts era tutor por um tempo..

E quando o test saiu um amigo e eu estavamos olhando por todas accounts que nós tinhamos acesso, para achar qual não tinha banimentos e premmy com todos requisitos, apenas para testar o teste... foi uma tarde divertida! Sobre as screenshots, eu não tenho nenhuma, eu recebo meu pagamento mensalmente e não me importo

Bem, Josephine era meu char principal, uma poderosa level 23 sorcerer e no conselho da Mercenary, ela e a tanto quanto poderosa druida Akallabeth costumavam sair para caçar Giant Spiders. Mas nós nao gostávamos de dividir nossa caçada com outras pessoas, então nos só iamos quando o lag estava o maior.. quando ninguem mais ousava visitar a Plains of Havoc, então nós nos preparavamos, com nossas backpacks de firebombs, e todos tipos de runas mais burst arrows.. nós viajavamos e botavamos toda poh em fogo, bem, nossa mira não era perfeita, mas cedo ou tarde nós prendiamos umas Giant spiders. E cedo ou tarde Akallabeth sempre morria, então ela podia ir para o depot e recarregar as bp's para nós termos ainda mais runas para lançar.
