If I'm not mistaken, this is how the enchanted weapons work:
Ok, a non enchanted weapon hits mele for a certain amount based on skill, lvl, w/e... but when u enchant a weapon a certain percentage of that damage is turned elemental...
example:
00:20 You see a mystic blade (Atk:44 Def:25 +2) that has 909 charges left.
It can only be wielded properly by players of level 60 or higher.
It weighs 35.00 oz.
It is temporarily enchanted with ice (36 hit + 8 ice damage).
Notice at the bottom it says (36 hit + 8 ice damage).. Its referring to the attack of the weapon. 36 of the attacking power of the weapon gives off mele damage, while the remaining 8 is turned into elemental damage of ice.
If the enchanted weapons elemental damage hits a weak spot on the monsters (like ice does to dragons) then the elemental damage is increased. But if the monster is imune to the element it lowers the overall attacking power.
example:
Lets say we have a kina who hits 50 with mele. Now if the kina enchants his weapon with ice, he will hit 40 with mele and 10 with ice. If he's attacking, lets say a dragon, then that 10 turns into a 25. So instead of hitting 50 overall he hits 65. It also works the other way. Lets say he hits a frost dragon with his ice weapon. Now the 10 ice damage wont effect the frost dragon at all, bringing his total hit down to 40, instead of 50.
hope that cleared some stuff up xD
